About Us
My Name is Beth Askem and I am certified by the OCN to hold private or group Puppy instruction classes (with or without the clicker), and to assist Dog owners in the Theory and Practice of Domestic Dog Training and Behaviour.
I continue to update and train with new concepts of Dog Behaviour and find that there are always new theories and techniques to put into practice.
My partner and I have a 15 month old Weimeraner who's lot in life is to keep me on my toes Bella loves a challenge and is a highly sociable dog who loves anyone who will love her back. I brought Bella home when she was 6 weeks old and her training began as soon as she arrived.
I also have two cats, Timmy and Matilda who spend their days lying in the garden or keeping Bella in check.
I entered the dog training world from a career in the Medical Field after spending time with a close family member who had run her own dog training company for many years. I think it is safe to say - I shall never go back! My aim is to educate dog owners to view learning from their dogs perspective, and to help them encourage their dog to offer the Best Behaviour without being instructed to demonstrate it.
A dog that sits because he wants to, has a happier and more willing state of mind than a dog who sits because he is told to!
For more information on how to enhance the state of mind of your dog through either training or play, please contact us through the online form on the home page or via email or telephone which can be found at the top of this page.
